LONDON

London has a rhythm all its own — refined, layered, and endlessly walkable. On this trip, we covered nearly 10 to 20 kilometers a day, moving through neighborhoods that felt both familiar and constantly new.

We stayed with Firmdale Hotels, a collection that defines boutique hospitality in London. Each property feels residential, filled with curated art and quiet details that remind you why British design remains timeless. Their locations made it easy to explore on foot — from Marylebone to Covent Garden — and the service struck that perfect balance of professionalism and personality.

Multiple memorable nights were had, oe being at The Piano Bar, tucked away and effortlessly elegant, followed by the surreal, high-energy brilliance of ABBA Voyage — a show that manages to feel both nostalgic and entirely futuristic.

Afternoons were for high tea — traditional, but never touristy — and long walks that led us through parks, galleries, and side streets filled with local character. We made a point to experience London as a local would: unhurried, observant, and curious.

What stood out most again was the balance — world-class culture, impeccable hospitality, and a sense of ease that only comes when a city is truly confident in itself.

London never tries to impress; it simply does.
